One, Product Introduction:
Tlon pai (polyamide imide). English name: polyaeie, is a new type of engineering plastic containing amide groups. Due to the highly stable random ring structure in the polyamide imide molecule, it exhibits heat resistance and low temperature resistance that cannot be compared with other polymeric materials, as well as mechanical properties and dimensional stability in high temperature environments.
● Tlon 4203 pai (yellow-brown): Density specific gravity: 1.41 g/cm3, is a type of pai with toughness and impact strength. Due to its inherent high temperature resistance, good dimensional stability, and good mechanical processing performance, Tlon 4203 pai is commonly used in the production of precision parts for high-tech equipment. Furthermore, due to its good electrical insulation properties, it is widely used in the field of electrical components.
● Tlon 4301 pai (black): Density specific gravity: 1.45 g/cm3, filled with ptfe and graphite, it has good wear resistance and low friction coefficient compared to unfilled ones. Tlon 4301 pai also exhibits dimensional stability in a wide temperature range. This grade of material is mostly used in engineering applications with high wear requirements, such as lubrication-free bearings, seals, bearing isolation rings, and reciprocating compressor parts.
● Tlon 5530 pai (black): Density specific gravity: 1.61 g/cm3. Enhanced with 30% glass fiber reinforcement. Compared with Tlon 4203 pai, it exhibits good rigidity, high strength, and improved toughness. It is suitable for manufacturing structural components. It can support fixed loads for a long time under high temperatures. Additionally, due to the dimensional stability exhibited by Tlon 5530 pai at 250°C, it is widely used in the production of precision parts, such as in the electronics and semiconductor industries. When using Tlon 5530 pai for sliding parts, its adaptability should be carefully checked, as the glass fiber may scratch the surface.
Two, Main Characteristics:
It allows for very high operating temperatures in the air, with good dimensional stability in the temperature range of 250°C. It has good wear and friction performance, outstanding UV resistance, superior resistance to high-energy radiation, inherent low flammability, high strength, high insulation, radiation resistance, self-lubrication, and low thermal expansion coefficient.
Three, Application Areas:
Pai is commonly used in the production of precision parts for high-tech equipment and in highly abrasive environments in the electronics and semiconductor industries. It is used in products that work under high temperature, high vacuum, strong radiation, and ultra-low temperature conditions, such as aerospace, petroleum drilling equipment, etc.
Four, Processing Tips:
● Tlon pai is susceptible to various chemical attacks. Steam will also rapidly degrade the performance of this material. When working at high temperatures and requiring chemical and hydrolytic resistance, peek may be the ideal material.
● Due to the relatively high moisture absorption of Tlon pai, if the parts are working at high temperatures or require high machining precision, they should be dried before installation. If the parts are moist and quickly work in an environment above 200°C, it will cause thermal shock deformation.
