Impact resistance: The impact force of polycarbonate sheets can reach 3kg/cm. The impact strength of PC sheets is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 20-30 times that of acrylic sheets, and 2 times that of tempered glass, with almost no risk of breaking. There are no cracks when a 3kg hammer falls from a height of two meters, earning it the titles of "shatterproof glass" and "sounding steel."

Light transmittance: Light transmission rate reaches 85-91%, with transparency comparable to glass. It does not yellow, haze, or reduce light transmission when exposed to sunlight. After ten years of exposure, the light loss of UV-coated sheets is only 6%, while that of PVC is as high as 15-20%, and fiberglass is 12-20%.

Weather resistance: The surface has a co-extruded layer that prevents yellowing of the resin due to sunlight UV. The co-extruded surface layer has chemical bonds that absorb UV and convert it into visible light, providing good stability for plant photosynthesis. It guarantees no fading for ten years outdoors. It maintains stability of various physical indicators within the temperature range of -40℃ to 130℃. Artificial climate aging tests for 4000 hours show a yellowing degree of 2 and a light transmittance reduction of only 0.6%.

Flame resistance: The polycarbonate sheet is inherently non-flammable and has self-extinguishing properties. It complies with the EU ROHS directive and strict UL safety standards, achieving UL94 fire ratings of V0, V2, and HB. The ignition point of PC sheets is 580 degrees Celsius, and it self-extinguishes after the fire source is removed, burning without producing toxic gases or promoting the spread of fire.

Heat and cold resistance: It will not deform or degrade in quality within the temperature range of -40℃ to +130℃. PC sheets do not become brittle at -100℃ and do not soften at 137.3℃. Its mechanical and physical properties remain stable in harsh environments.

Lightweight and rigidity: Weighing only half that of glass and one-third that of acrylic sheets, it offers good adaptability and safety, making it easy to handle, drill, and cut, with low risk of breakage during installation and easy construction.

Flexibility: Can be cold bent on-site according to design, forming arches, semi-circular roofs, and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the sheet, and it can also be hot bent.

Sound insulation: PC sheets have significant sound insulation effects, providing better acoustic insulation than glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness. Under the same thickness conditions, the sound insulation of PC sheets improves by 3-4 dB compared to glass. It is used internationally as material for sound barriers on highways.

Energy efficiency: Keeps cool in summer and insulated in winter, PC sheets have lower thermal conductivity (K-value) than ordinary glass and other plastics, with insulation performance 7%-25% higher than that of equivalent glass and insulation as high as 49%. This significantly reduces heat loss, making it an environmentally friendly material for buildings with heating equipment.

Anti-condensation: When the outdoor temperature is 0℃ and the indoor temperature is 23℃ with indoor relative humidity below 80%, there is no condensation on the inner surface of the material.
