Impact resistance: The impact resistance of polycarbonate sheets can reach 3kg/cm. The impact strength of PC sheets is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 20-30 times that of acrylic sheets, and twice that of tempered glass, with almost no risk of breakage. A drop of 2 meters with a hammer weighing 3kg leaves no cracks, earning the titles of "shatterproof glass" and "sound steel".

Light transmittance: High light transmittance of 85-91%, comparable to glass in transparency. It does not yellow, fog, or have poor light transmittance when exposed to sunlight. The UV-coated sheet has only a 6% light loss after ten years, while PVC has a loss rate of 15-20%, and fiberglass has a loss rate of 12-20%.

Weather resistance: The surface has a co-extruded layer that prevents resin fatigue yellowing caused by UV rays from sunlight. The co-extruded layer has chemical bonds that absorb UV rays and convert them into visible light, providing a good stabilizing effect for plant photosynthesis. It guarantees no fading outdoors for ten years. Physical indicators remain stable within the temperature range of -40℃ to 130℃. An artificial climate aging test of 4000 hours shows a yellowing degree of 2, with a light transmittance reduction of only 0.6%.

Flame resistance: The polycarbonate sheet itself is non-flammable and has self-extinguishing properties. It complies with the EU ROHS directive and strict UL safety standards, achieving UL94 fire ratings of V0, V2, and HB. The ignition point of PC sheets is 580 degrees Celsius; it self-extinguishes after leaving the flame and does not produce toxic gases or promote fire spread when burned.

Heat and cold resistance: It does not cause deformation or quality deterioration within the temperature range of -40℃ to +130℃. PC sheets do not become brittle at -100℃ and do not soften at 137.3℃. Its mechanical properties remain unchanged in harsh environments.

Lightweight and rigidity: It is lightweight, only half the weight of glass and one-third of acrylic sheets, with good adaptability and safety, making it easy to handle, drill, and cut. It is not easily broken during installation, ensuring simple and safe construction.

Flexibility: It can be cold-bent on-site according to the design to create arches, semicircular roofs, and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the plate thickness, and it can also be hot-bent.

Sound insulation: PC sheets have significant sound insulation effects, offering better sound insulation than glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness. Under the same thickness conditions, PC sheets provide a sound insulation increase of 3-4DB compared to glass. They are internationally recognized as materials for highway sound barriers.

Energy efficiency: It keeps cool in summer and warm in winter. PC sheets have a lower thermal conductivity (K value) than ordinary glass and other plastics, providing insulation that is 7%-25% higher than comparable glass, with 49% insulation efficiency for PC sheets. This greatly reduces heat loss, making it an eco-friendly material for buildings with heating equipment.

Anti-condensation: When the outdoor temperature is 0℃ and the indoor temperature is 23℃ with indoor relative humidity below 80%, there is no condensation on the inner surface of the material.
