Impact resistance: The impact force of polycarbonate (PC) sheets can reach up to 3kg/cm. The impact strength of PC sheets is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 20-30 times that of acrylic sheets, and twice that of tempered glass, virtually eliminating the risk of breakage. No cracks occur when a 3kg hammer is dropped from two meters. It is known for its "shatterproof" and "sound steel" qualities.

Light transmittance: High light transmittance of 85-91%, comparable to glass. It does not yellow, fog, or reduce transparency when exposed to sunlight. After ten years, the UV coating loses only 6% of its light transmittance, while PVC loses 15-20%, and fiberglass loses 12-20%.

Weather resistance: The surface has a co-extruded layer that prevents resin yellowing due to UV rays from sunlight. The co-extruded layer absorbs UV rays and converts them into visible light, providing good stability for plant photosynthesis. It guarantees no fading for ten years outdoors. It maintains stability in physical properties within the range of -40℃ to 130℃. After 4000 hours of artificial climate aging tests, the yellowing degree is 2, and the reduction in light transmittance is only 0.6%.

Flame resistance: The polycarbonate sheet itself is not self-igniting and has self-extinguishing properties. It complies with the EU ROHS directive and strict UL safety standards, achieving UL94 fire ratings of V0, V2, and HB levels. The ignition point of PC sheets is 580 degrees Celsius, and they self-extinguish after the fire source is removed, with no toxic gases produced during combustion and no contribution to the spread of flames.

Heat and cold resistance: It does not deform or deteriorate in quality within the temperature range of -40℃ to +130℃. PC sheets do not become brittle at -100℃ and do not soften at 137.3℃. Its mechanical and physical properties remain stable even in harsh environments.

Lightweight and hardness: It is lightweight, only half the weight of glass and one-third that of acrylic sheets, with good adaptability and safety, making it easy to transport, drill, and cut. It is not prone to breakage during installation, ensuring easy and safe construction.

Flexibility: It can be cold bent on-site according to design drawings to create arched or semi-circular roofs and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the sheet thickness, and it can also be hot bent.

Sound insulation: PC sheets have significant sound insulation properties, providing better sound insulation than glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness. Under the same thickness conditions, the sound insulation of PC sheets is improved by 3-4dB compared to glass. It is internationally recognized as a material for highway sound barriers.

Energy efficiency: It keeps cool in summer and warm in winter. PC sheets have lower thermal conductivity (K value) than ordinary glass and other plastics, with insulation effects 7-25% higher than that of glass, and an insulation rate of 49%. This greatly reduces heat loss, making it an environmentally friendly material for buildings with heating equipment.

Condensation prevention: When the outdoor temperature is 0℃ and the indoor temperature is 23℃, with indoor relative humidity below 80%, the inner surface of the material does not condense.
