Impact resistance: The impact force of polycarbonate (PC) sheets can reach up to 3kg/cm. The impact strength of PC sheets is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 20-30 times that of acrylic sheets, and twice that of tempered glass, with almost no risk of breakage. Dropping a 3kg hammer from two meters does not leave cracks, earning it the titles of "shatterproof glass" and "sound steel."

Light transmittance: Light transmission rate reaches 85-91%, and its transparency can match that of glass. It does not yellow, fog, or have poor light transmission when exposed to sunlight. The UV-coated sheet has only a 6% light loss after ten years, while PVC has a loss rate of 15-20%, and fiberglass ranges from 12-20%.

Weather resistance: The surface has a co-extruded layer that protects against UV-induced resin fatigue and yellowing. The co-extruded surface layer absorbs UV rays and converts them into visible light, providing good stability for plant photosynthesis. It guarantees ten years of outdoor color retention. It maintains stability of physical indicators within the temperature range of -40℃ to 130℃. In artificial climate aging tests of 4000 hours, the yellowing degree is 2, with a light transmission reduction of only 0.6%.

Flame resistance: The sheet itself is non-flammable and has self-extinguishing properties. It complies with the EU ROHS directive and strict UL safety standards, achieving UL94 fire ratings of V0, V2, and HB. The ignition point of PC sheets is 580 degrees Celsius, and they self-extinguish after removing the flame, without producing toxic gases and not promoting the spread of fire.

Heat and cold resistance: It does not deform or degrade in quality within the temperature range of -40℃ to +130℃. PC sheets do not become brittle at -100℃ and do not soften at 137.3℃. Its mechanical and physical properties show no significant changes in harsh environments.

Lightweight and hardness: It is lightweight, being only half the weight of glass and one-third that of acrylic sheets. It has good adaptability and safety, making it easy to handle, drill, and cut, and is less likely to break during installation, ensuring simple and safe construction.

Flexibility: It can be cold bent on-site according to design drawings to form arches, semi-circular roofs, and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the sheet, and it can also be hot bent.

Sound insulation: PC sheets have significant sound insulation effects, providing better sound insulation than glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness. Under the same conditions, the sound insulation of PC sheets is improved by 3-4 dB over glass. It is internationally recognized as a material for highway sound barriers.

Energy efficiency: It keeps cool in summer and warm in winter, with a lower thermal conductivity (K value) than ordinary glass and other plastics. Its insulation effect is 7%-25% higher than that of equivalent glass, with a thermal insulation improvement of 49%. This significantly reduces heat loss, making it an environmentally friendly material for buildings with heating equipment.

Anti-condensation: When the outdoor temperature is 0℃ and the indoor temperature is 23℃, with indoor relative humidity below 80%, there is no condensation on the inner surface of the material.
