This machine is primarily used for the automatic formation of flat masks: After the roll of fabric is unwound and driven by rollers, the fabric goes through automatic edge folding and edge wrapping. The nose wire, supplied in a continuous roll, is unwound, cut to a predetermined length, and then inserted into the edge-wrapped fabric. Both sides are sealed via ultrasonic welding, followed by side sealing. The masks are then cut to shape using a cutting blade. The masks are conveyed via a production line to two earloop welding stations where they are ultrasonically welded into their final form. Once the mask is completed, it is transported via the production line to a flat belt collection line.
