ZW(L) Fire Boosting and Pressure Stabilizing Water Supply Equipment is a fire-specific boosting and pressure stabilizing device designed and manufactured in accordance with the national building standard design atlas 98S205 and others. This equipment consists of a diaphragm pressure tank, booster pump, electrical control box, instruments, and pipeline accessories, and is suitable for fire hydrant water supply systems and automatic sprinkler systems in multi-story and high-rise building projects that require boosting.
**Working Principle of ZW(L) Fire Boosting and Pressure Stabilizing Water Supply Equipment:**
The diaphragm pressure water supply equipment uses a non-toxic capsule for gas-water separation, making it a new type of equipment that requires one-time inflation and can operate for many years. During operation, the water supply pump is activated, water enters the water chamber, water pressure increases, and the gas in the gas chamber is compressed, causing the diaphragm to stretch. When water pressure decreases, the gas in the gas chamber expands, the diaphragm contracts, and water is forced out of the water chamber. This process repeats, with the operation of the water pump controlled by an electrical contact pressure gauge and electrical control box, achieving the rated pressure and continuous water supply. In the event of a fire, when the fire hydrant is opened, a fire-fighting water column is immediately sprayed, and the electrical contact pressure gauge sends a signal to start the fire pump to supply the required fire-fighting water.
**Features of ZW(L) Fire Boosting and Pressure Stabilizing Water Supply Equipment:**
1. The pump, electrical control cabinet, diaphragm pressure tank, and combined pipeline network are integrated, equipped with an isolator, eliminating the need for pre-embedded anchor holes. Designers only need to calculate parameters to find the equipment model, foundation dimensions, etc. Electrical designers do not need to design control wiring; they only need to design the incoming line and the wiring to the equipment in the pump room. This makes selection convenient and significantly shortens the design cycle for designers and construction time for workers.
2. The diaphragm pressure tank is inflated once for long-lasting durability, and the gas-water isolation prevents water quality contamination.
3. The equipment occupies a small footprint, is economical, and operates fully automatically without the need for dedicated supervision.
4. The equipment has dual power supply interfaces with automatic (manual) switching between dual power sources, and the equipment can be manufactured according to design requirements.
5. It has automatic protection and fault switching functions. If any pump fails (due to electrical or hydraulic issues), a standby pump can be activated.
6. It can be connected to the fire control center (as per design requirements).
7. The tank, pressure stabilization method, and control functions can be selected based on customer needs.
8. The main electrical components are sourced from domestic or imported enterprises, ensuring reliable quality and stable operation.
**Structure of ZW(L) Fire Boosting and Pressure Stabilizing Water Supply Equipment:**
The equipment consists of two pressure pumps (one can be set based on design requirements) for use and standby, one diaphragm pressure tank, one electrical control cabinet, and one set of instrument valves and combined pipeline networks, forming a diaphragm pressure water supply device.
**Selection Guidelines for ZW(L) Fire Boosting and Pressure Stabilizing Water Supply Equipment Models:**
ZW(L) Fire Boosting and Pressure Stabilizing Water Supply Equipment has launched two models based on the performance parameters of the Ministry of Construction's standard atlas 98S205 as a reference.
1. ZW(L) and ZW(W) series pressure stabilization models are designed according to the model numbers specified in the Ministry of Construction's atlas 98S205.
2. The enterprise has developed equipment models based on relevant standards such as GA30-92, GA30-2002, and water supply equipment standards. The monopolistic models for pressure tanks and pumps have been removed, providing designers and users with competitive product selection space. ATLANTIC-PUMP recommends the following model products for use, such as LG, GDL, CDL, ISG, etc. Users can choose suitable equipment based on the position of the water level tank.
