PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) commonly known as the plastic king, F4, or Teflon. Using suspension polytetrafluoroethylene resin, it can be molded into sheets, turning films, and pipes. Can be pressed into shaped. Can be mixed with graphite to make boards, rods, discs, roots, ropes, and raw materials.
Characteristics: Very wide temperature range (from -200 degrees Celsius to +260 degrees Celsius).
Basically resistant to all chemicals except some fluorides and alkaline metal liquids.
Excellent mechanical properties including aging resistance, especially for bending and swinging applications.
Outstanding flame retardancy (compliant with ASTM-D635 and D470 test procedures, classified as flame retardant material in air).
Excellent insulation properties (regardless of frequency and temperature).
Very low water absorption, with unique properties such as self-lubrication and non-stickiness.
Applications: Seals/gaskets, ring materials, wear-resistant plates/seats, insulation parts, corrosion-resistant industries, mechanical components, linings, petroleum and natural gas, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, instrument equipment manufacturers, etc.
