The GBY series submersible pump is a new type of concentrated liquid submersible pump produced based on the performance parameters of the FY submersible pump, designed with material improvements. Compared to traditional domestic concentrated pumps, this pump has unique characteristics and is cost-effective. It is the preferred choice for circulation pumps in drying towers and absorption towers in production. **Features** 1. Reasonable structure. 2. It uses an open impeller for conveying liquids containing particles (with particle diameters not exceeding 30% of the pump suction inlet diameter), ensuring stable operation without clogging. The GBY type concentrated submersible pump is made from steel extensively used in concentrations of 80% to 98%, with temperatures reaching 60-80°C. In this concentration and temperature range, a protective iron film layer can form on the surface. Cast iron is not suitable for concentrations exceeding 80%, possibly due to reactions between sulfur trioxide and silicon contained in iron, making cast iron brittle. Carbon steel is unsuitable for 100-102% concentrations; it becomes applicable again when the acid exceeds 102%, with a temperature limitation of around 60°C. Dilute acids cause significant corrosion to steel, with corrosion rates peaking at around 47% acid concentration. When acid concentration exceeds 65%, the corrosion rate of steel significantly decreases. However, in the 65-80% concentration range, it is better not to use steel, as using lead or other materials resistant to dilute acid is safer.
