PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as plastic king, F4, or Teflon. It is made from suspended polytetrafluoroethylene resin through compression molding, and can be made into sheets, turned films, and pipes. It can be pressed and extruded. It can be mixed with graphite and other materials to form plates, rods, gaskets, ropes, and raw tape.
Properties: It has a very wide temperature range of use (from -200 degrees Celsius to +260 degrees Celsius).
It is basically resistant to all chemical substances except for some fluorides and alkaline metal liquids.
It has excellent mechanical properties, including aging resistance, especially for applications involving bending and swinging.
It has outstanding flame retardancy (compliant with ASTM-D635 and D470 testing procedures, classified as a flame-retardant material in air.
It has excellent insulation properties (regardless of frequency and temperature)
It has extremely low water absorption and possesses a series of unique properties such as self-lubrication and non-stickiness.
Applications: Seals/ gaskets, rings, wear-resistant plates/ electrical insulation, anti-corrosion industries, mechanical components, linings, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, instrument and equipment manufacturers, etc.
