Usage Instructions
1. The bonding surface must be kept clean and dry. You can use alcohol or similar to wipe it clean. The surface should be allowed to dry completely before applying the tape, or you can use a heat gun or hair dryer to dry it for better adhesion;
2. During operation, avoid contact between fingers and the adhesive surface. After applying, press firmly to ensure full contact and wetting of the adhesive surface.
To achieve enhanced bonding effects when using 3M double-sided tape, please follow these procedures:
1. First, clean and dry the bonding surface. It is generally recommended to use a cloth soaked in a 1:1 IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and water mixture for surface cleaning, and wait until the surface is completely dry.
2. Once the cleaning solvent has dried, apply the tape to the bonding surface, using a roller or other means to apply about 15 PSI (1.05 kg/cm²) of pressure for effective bonding.
3. Remove the release liner from the tape, then apply the material to be bonded, again applying 15 PSI of pressure for effective adhesion. If bubbles need to be removed, pressure should be increased to the maximum limit that the item can withstand.
4. The ideal temperature for bonding is 15-38℃, and it should not be lower than 10℃.
Storage conditions for 3M double-sided tape: Temperature should be 19-23℃, and humidity should be 40-60%.
