Usage Instructions

1. The bonding surface must be kept clean and dry. It is recommended to use alcohol or similar substances for cleaning. After cleaning, the surface should be allowed to dry completely before applying the tape. Heating with a hairdryer or heat gun can improve the bonding effect;

2. During operation, avoid contact between fingers and the adhesive surface. After sticking, press firmly to ensure full contact and wetting of the adhesive surface.

When bonding with 3M double-sided tape, the following operating procedures should be followed to achieve enhanced bonding effects:

1. The adhesive surface must be cleaned and dried first. It is generally recommended to use a cloth soaked in a 1:1 IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) and water mixture to wipe the surface clean, waiting until it is completely dry.

2. After the cleaning solvent has dried, apply the tape to the adhesive surface, using a roller or other means to apply pressure of approximately 15 PSI (1.05 kg/cm²) for effective adhesion.

3. Remove the release liner from the tape, then attach the material to be bonded, applying the same 15 PSI pressure for effective adhesion. If bubbles need to be removed, increase the pressure to the maximum limit that the item can withstand.

4. The ideal temperature for bonding is between 15-38℃, and it should not be lower than 10℃.

  3M double-sided tape should be stored in a suitable environment with a temperature of 19-23℃ and humidity of 40-60%.
