Zhejiang Wahaha Drinking Water Co., Ltd. Reclaims Bottled Water Sales Rights From Hongsheng Group
In March 2025, Wahaha Group transferred its bottled water sales business from Zhejiang Wahaha Drinking Water Co., Ltd. to Hangzhou Xun'er City Communication Trading Co., Ltd.; in April 2025, without signing agreements with distributors, it required the distributors to place orders with Hangzhou Xun'er City Communication Trading Co., Ltd. to complete the business transfer.

Previously, The Paper reported that at the end of 2024, Zong Fuli, who was then the Chairman of Wahaha Group, requested the sale of barreled water business of Zhejiang Wahaha Drinking Water Co., Ltd.Transfer to Hangzhou Xuner Chengtong Trading Co., Ltd., with the plan officially implemented on March 25, 2025.In April 2025, without signing a purchase and sales agreement with the distributor, the distributor was asked to place an order with Hangzhou Xuner Chengtong Trading Co., Ltd. The shipment was completed, invoices were issued, and the substantive business transfer was accomplished.
"The sales rights have now returned to Zhejiang Wahaha Drinking Water Co., Ltd., which remains a company that integrates production and sales." According to informed sources.
According to Tianyancha data, Zhejiang Wahaha Drinking Water Co., Ltd. was established in March 2016, with the legal representative being Zong Qinghou, the founder of Wahaha. This company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Wahaha Industrial Co., Ltd. (a company listed on the New Fourth Board). Public data shows that Wahaha Group holds 43% of the shares in Zhejiang Wahaha Industrial Co., Ltd., with internal employee shareholding at approximately 31.5% and social capital shareholding at about 25.5%. Currently, the legal representative of Zhejiang Wahaha Industrial Co., Ltd. is Zong Fuli, who succeeded Zong Qinghou.
Hangzhou Xun'er City Communication Trading Co., Ltd. was established in 2022, with Yan Xuefeng as the legal representative and Zong Fuli as a director. The company is 100% controlled by Hangzhou Hongchen Marketing Co., Ltd., which is 100% controlled by Hongsheng Beverage Co., Ltd.
