The Munich International Auto Show 2025 grandly opened at the Munich Exhibition Center on September 8. As one of the most influential international auto shows in Europe, the Munich Auto Show attracts many well-known car companies and emerging technology enterprises from around the world to participate.

At this auto show, XPeng is showcasing five models, including the all-new XPeng P7, the 2025 XPeng G6, the 2025 XPeng G9, the XPeng X9, and the XPeng P7+. Meanwhile, cutting-edge exhibits such as humanoid robots, flying cars, a land aircraft carrier model, and the SEPA Fuyao architecture are also on display.

As a major highlight of the Munich Motor Show, this year's event innovatively adopts a dual-zone linkage model combining indoor and outdoor urban exhibition areas. XPeng Motors' indoor booth is located at Hall B1, Booth C20 of the Munich Exhibition Center, while the outdoor booth is situated at the intersection of Von-der-Tann-Str. and Ludwigstrasse in downtown Munich, close to the Munich Residenz and several other important cultural landmarks. Through multiple core technology display areas distributed across the two exhibition zones, XPeng showcases its profound technological accumulation and robust capabilities to the European market.

Taking Europe as the starting point, embark on a new phase of globalization strategy.

At the press conference, XPeng Motors announced a key milestone in its globalization strategy: the first R&D center in Europe will officially be launched. As the brand’s ninth global R&D center, it will collaborate synergistically with the R&D centers in Silicon Valley and San Diego. Centered on the concept of “In Europe, With Europe,” it aims to deeply explore local user needs and accelerate technological innovation and localization.

"This center enables us to directly listen to the voices of European users and transform their needs into innovative achievements for XPeng Motors," emphasized Mr. Gu Hongdi, Vice Chairman and Co-President of the company. This move is not only an extension of our R&D capabilities but also a manifestation of the brand's determination for globalization.

Starting from Norway in 2021 to knock on the door of Europe, XPeng Motors' globalization footprint continues to expand, currently covering 46 countries and regions worldwide, delivering an impressive overseas performance: In the first half of 2025, XPeng secured its position in the overseas market by ranking among the top six global pure electric vehicle brands in sales; from January to July 2025, XPeng’s overseas deliveries reached 21,701 units, a year-on-year increase of 174%. In the European market, XPeng is also the top-selling Chinese brand of mid-to-high-end pure electric vehicles. In the segmented market, the XPeng G9 won the championship for mid-to-high-end mid-to-large pure electric SUV sales among Chinese brands in Europe, while the XPeng G6 is a highly favored mid-to-high-end mid-size pure electric SUV among European XPeng fans. Meanwhile, the world’s first AI car, the XPeng P7+, is about to launch in Europe, bringing the latest intelligent technology achievements of XPeng to local users.

A market research company in Germany, USCALE, revealed that XPeng's Net Promoter Score (NPS) reached as high as 81%, far exceeding the industry average of 33%. It has also earned a "zero negative feedback" reputation among European consumers, confirming that localized products and services are highly recognized by European customers.

In addition, the strategic cooperation between XPENG Motors and the Volkswagen Group continues to deepen. The jointly developed electronic and electrical architecture will not only be integrated into Volkswagen’s pure electric vehicle platforms for the Chinese market, but also deployed in Volkswagen’s fuel and plug-in hybrid vehicle platforms in China. Meanwhile, XPENG’s global localized production layout is also accelerating: in July this year, the first locally produced XPENG X9 in Indonesia was successfully delivered, marking the official entry of XPENG’s global localized production strategy into a comprehensive implementation phase. XPENG will also join hands with outstanding European supply chain partners to bring China’s intelligent vehicles to global users more quickly.
