March 20 news, recently, the official X account of Xiaomi Japan announced,Xiaomi Store No.1 will open in Japan on March 22, and the official also shared photos of the store.
From the photos, there is almost no difference between the Xiaomi stores in Japan and those in China, selling products including Xiaomi phones, Xiaomi TVs, Xiaomi wearable products, Xiaomi power banks, Xiaomi cameras, as well as multiple products from the Mi Ecosystem.
It is understood that prior to this, Xiaomi's sales in Japan were mainly through online shopping platforms, consumer electronics retailers, and temporary pop-up stores.
according to the plan,Xiaomi will open 5-10 Xiaomi stores in Tokyo by 2025, with the second store set to open on April 5.
It is reported that in addition to mobile phones and home appliances, Xiaomi also plans to sell large home appliances such as air conditioners in Japan to meet the needs of local consumers.
Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing recently revealed at the 2024 full-year performance release teleconference,Xiaomi plans to open 10,000 Xiaomi stores overseas within five years, promoting the globalization of the new retail model.
