On the cleaning plant side, due to poor future demand expectations, the purchase price of bottle bricks also decreased by 50-100 yuan/ton, with finished products mainly sold as they were produced. Under the weak supply and demand, the market price of recycled PET bottle chips fluctuated downward. At the close, the price of imitation high-grade machine white chips in the East China recycled PET market was 5050 yuan/ton, a decrease of 50 yuan/ton from the previous period; the price of Guangdong three-dimensional grade cold water blue and white chips was 4700 yuan/ton, a decrease of 100 yuan/ton from the previous period; the price of Linyi three-dimensional machine pure white chips was 4950 yuan/ton, a decrease of 50 yuan/ton from the previous period.

This week, the domestic PET operation rate was 39.8%, remaining unchanged from last week.

Downstream demand: Regenerated ordinary fiber production 54.83%, down 0.68% month-over-month. Regenerated hollow fiber production 59.31%, up 0.62% month-over-month. The comprehensive machine operation rate for chemical fiber weaving in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions is 62.64%, up 2.65% month-over-month.

In summary, the terminal demand recovery is below expectations, and the production and sales of regenerated chemical fiber factories are sluggish. The selling price of finished products is declining, and under the cost control mentality, the pressure on raw material procurement prices remains unchanged.
