Trim - Tex Inc. announced the acquisition of Plastic Components Inc., marking the company's first acquisition in its 56-year history.

According to the company, this deal expands its product range to include outdoor polyvinyl chloride (PVC) profiles, making Trim - Tex a provider of both indoor and outdoor PVC decorative solutions.

Joe Koenig Jr., CEO of Trim - Tex, emphasized that the acquisition is more than just a business transaction. He stated that it represents the union of two family-owned companies with similar values and visions.

Koenig said: "Plastic Components has achieved remarkable success over the past 56 years, and we are honored to help carry on its legacy. Together, we will continue to provide high-quality, American-made products while ensuring long-term stability and growth opportunities for our employees."

Completion of the Transaction

The acquisition was completed on February 28. Further details have not been disclosed, but both companies assured their customers that there would be no disruption to products and services. They emphasized their commitment to maintaining "high levels of service throughout the entire transition period."

Both companies also confirmed that there will be no immediate changes to their product lines or services, and any future updates will be proactively communicated.

Bryan Schwartz, President of Trim - Tex, expressed excitement about the deal, calling it a positive milestone for both companies.
