According to media reports from Fashion Network, Shein has decided to collaborate with India's richest man Mukesh Ambani's family and Reliance Industries, the largest private company in India, to shift its clothing production to India. Shein plans to increase the number of Indian clothing suppliers from the current 150 to 1,000 within the next year and aims to export "Made in India" clothing to overseas markets, particularly the United States and the United Kingdom, within 6 to 12 months, in order to avoid the impact of high tariffs.

In order to effectively implement Shein's unique flexible quick response model, India's Reliance Industries has sent executives to China to learn about Shein's supply chain management system, in order to replicate Shein's ability to create popular products and achieve production capacity.
