Second in the country! The annual production capacity of UHMWPE fiber from Tongyi Zhong reaches 7,960 tons.

Data shows that Tongyizhong mainly deals with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers and their composite materials.

The company announced on December 10th that it plans to use RMB 243 million of its own funds to acquire 75.80% of the shares of ChaoMeisi New Materials Co., Ltd. After the completion of this transaction, ChaoMeisi will become a subsidiary controlled by the company. ChaoMeisi has a designed production capacity of 5,000 tons for aramid fibers and 2,000 tons for aramid paper.

Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers possess excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, light weight, and good stability. They also feature low density, good weather resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, low-temperature resistance, coolness, wear resistance, bend resistance, cut resistance, high specific energy absorption, low electrical conductivity, and certain water resistance. These characteristics make them widely used in various fields such as military equipment, safety protection, aerospace, marine industries, cool textiles, sports goods, and biomedical materials. Due to their light weight, high strength, and high specific energy absorption, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers have gradually replaced aramid and become the preferred fiber in individual ballistic protection.
