The new AITO M9 model has completed its application in February this year, featuring both plug-in range-extended and pure electric power options, equipped with CATL ternary lithium-ion batteries.

The car has dimensions of 5230×1999×1800mm and a wheelbase of 3110mm. The total mass for the extended-range version is 3145kg / 3165kg, while the pure electric version is 3130kg. The approach angle / departure angle is 18 / 20 degrees. The front track is 1707mm and the rear track is 1713mm. The tire specifications are 265/45R21, 285/45R21, 265/40R22, 285/40R22.

IT Home noticed that the new car will continue with the family design of the AITO M9, with some changes in details. It is expected to be equipped with four LiDARs (front, rear, and both sides). The extended-range version will carry the Chongqing Sokon HG15T engine, with a rated power of the drive motor at 42kW / 72kW, peak power of the drive motor at 165kW / 200kW, and the maximum net power of the engine at 115kW.

The all-electric version is equipped with YS210XYA03 / TZ210XYA03 engines from Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd., with a power of 160/230kW. The rated power of the drive motor is 62kW / 88kW, and the peak power is 160kW / 230kW. The AITO M9 will also be fitted with ternary lithium-ion batteries from CATL, and options such as rim designs, electric side steps, and towing-specific equipment will be available.
