Polypropylene (PP) Falls by 0.56% in One Day, Latest Changes in Positions
According to exchange data, as of the close on August 1st, the main polypropylene contract 2509 fell by 0.56%. The trading volume was 173,400 lots. Position data shows that the top 20 seats held a net short position, with a position difference of 18,791 lots.
The total trading volume of all polypropylene futures contracts was 264,800 lots, a decrease of 26,000 lots compared to the previous day. The top 20 long positions across all contracts totaled 354,100 lots, a decrease of 3,775 lots from the previous day. The top 20 short positions across all contracts totaled 397,400 lots, a decrease of 3,137 lots from the previous day.
According to the combined data, the top three long positions are Guotai Junan, with a total holding of 79,960; CITIC Futures, with a total holding of 43,350; and Yong'an Futures, with a total holding of 32,669. The top three short positions are Guotai Junan, with a total holding of 119,357; CITIC Futures, with a total holding of 52,134; and Dongzheng Futures, with a total holding of 27,872.
In the top 20 positions of the main contract, the top three long positions with the largest increase in positions are: Guohai Liangshi, with a position of 3,579 and an increase of 248; Huatai Futures, with a position of 12,756 and an increase of 142; Green Dahua, with a position of 2,925 and an increase of 108. The top three long positions with the largest decrease in positions are: CITIC Futures, with a position of 24,259 and a decrease of 1,961; Guotai Junan, with a position of 43,079 and a decrease of 1,154; Galaxy Futures, with a position of 4,838 and a decrease of 614.
Among the top 20 main contract positions, the top three institutions with the largest increase in short positions are: Huatai Futures, with holdings of 10,362 and an increase of 1,126; CITIC Futures, with holdings of 24,647 and an increase of 750; Dadi Futures, with holdings of 5,403 and an increase of 725. The top three institutions with the largest decrease in short positions are: Guotai Junan, with holdings of 71,300 and a decrease of 2,267; Dongzheng Futures, with holdings of 15,754 and a decrease of 1,931; and SDIC Futures, with holdings of 5,335 and a decrease of 1,076.
