Polyde Adds 27,500 Tons of Masterbatch Production Capacity Annually
The Suzhou Xiangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone Administrative Committee has accepted the environmental impact report form for the second phase of the new color masterbatch production project by Suzhou Baolidi Materials Technology Co., Ltd.
This project involves an annual production capacity increase of 27,500 tons of general-purpose masterbatch, including black masterbatch (TBF62C) with a capacity of 19,250 t/a, white masterbatch (TW10391-A50) with 3,575 t/a, and color masterbatch (TN38019-A1, HNB10008-A1) with 4,675 t/a. These materials are widely used in automotive parts, furniture, home appliances, food packaging, and other industries. The products comply with enterprise standards (Q/320507, NCB02-2024). The project investment amounts to 260 million RMB, with a construction period of 6 months.
According to information from the Color Masterbatch Industry Network, the old factory of Polyde is located at Shiyuan Road, Shiqiao Village, Beiqiao Subdistrict, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou. It was shut down in 2019 and has been demolished as required.
In 2019, Polyde purchased a parcel of construction land located south of Chuangxin Road and west of Xujia Guan Road in Beiqiao Subdistrict, Xiangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, Suzhou. The company initiated a new project for the research, development, and production of masterbatches, with planned annual outputs of 30,000 tons of general masterbatch, 5,000 tons of functional masterbatch, and 7,500 tons of liquid masterbatch. The first phase passed self-inspection on September 25, 2023, and is currently operating normally (with an annual output of 30,000 tons of general masterbatch and 5,000 tons of functional masterbatch). The second phase is under construction.
