The domestic PC market experienced a narrow fluctuation and consolidation today. The focus of certain domestic products fell by 50 yuan/ton compared to yesterday. Domestic PC factories have not indicated any new ex-factory price adjustments. In the spot market, East and South China saw narrow range consolidations at low levels, with minor adjustments in specific areas. There is minimal fluctuation in fundamental news, and the downstream buying pace for just-in-time demand has weakened. Market participants remain cautious and are adopting a wait-and-see approach, negotiating sales flexibly based on current conditions. Buying interest is insufficient, resulting in a subdued trading atmosphere.

3 Production Dynamics

Today, the capacity utilization rate of domestic PC factories is at 77.69%; the market price of raw material bisphenol A in East China has dropped by 50 yuan/ton to 7,450 yuan/ton. The gross profit margin of the domestic PC industry has increased by 45 yuan/ton compared to the previous working day, now at -205 yuan/ton.
