【PA6 Morning Tip】Recent polymerization enterprises have maintained firm quotations, with the PA6 market slightly up.

1. Focus Point

1 ） On April 1st, market attention shifted from production country sanctions to the US imposing additional tariffs, raising concerns about the impact on demand prospects, leading to a decline in international oil prices. NYMEX crude oil futures contract for May fell by $0.28 per barrel to $71.20, a decrease of -0.39%; ICE Brent crude oil futures contract rolling over to June fell by $0.28 per barrel to $74.49, a decrease of -0.37%. China's INE crude oil futures main contract for May increased by 11.6 to 549 yuan per barrel, and during the night session, it increased by 4.3 to 553.3 yuan per barrel.

2 ） Sinopec caprolactam weekly settlement price is 10,280 yuan per ton (six-month acceptance with interest-free), down 100 yuan per ton from last week.

3 ） Sinopec has raised the price of pure benzene by 150 yuan/ton at its refineries in East China and South China, with the new price set at 6,750 yuan/ton, effective from April 1.

Core logic: Cost support strengthens as polymer firms hold firm on prices, with downstream sectors following demand.

3. Market Outlook

Upstream pure benzene and raw material prices have risen, strengthening cost support. Polymer enterprises maintain thin but firm quotations, while downstream industries follow up with demand-based pricing. Some polymer companies have decent shipments, and it is expected that polymer enterprises will continue to maintain firm quotations in the near term, with the PA6 market showing a slight upward trend.
