[PA6 Morning Brief] PA6 Market Expected to Weaken in the Near Term

1. Focus Point

1 ） On October 15, concerns about oversupply risks and demand prospects being suppressed by trade disputes initiated by the United States led to a decline in international oil prices. NYMEX crude oil futures for the November contract fell by $0.43 to $58.27 per barrel, a decrease of 0.73%. ICE Brent crude futures for the December contract dropped by $0.48 to $61.91 per barrel, a decline of 0.77%. China's INE crude oil futures for the 2512 contract fell by 7.6 to 444.9 yuan per barrel, and in the night session, it declined by 1.9 to 443 yuan per barrel.

2 ） Last week's closing price for Sinopec's caprolactam was 8,580 RMB/ton (six-month acceptance, interest-free).

3 Sinopec's listed price for pure benzene is reduced by 100 yuan/ton to 5650 yuan/ton, effective October 14th.

The market price of caprolactam, a raw material, is declining, weakening cost support.
