Medtronic Experiences Executive Personnel Changes!

Medtronic announced today the appointment ofDr. Adam S. Arthur ( Dr. Don S. Arthur)Chief Medical Officer for its neurovascular business.

Arthur will assume office on September 30, 2025. He has over 20 years of experience in neurosurgery and will be joining Medtronic's Neurovascular division. Arthur previously served as the Chair of Neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

According to the world's largest medical technology giant, his leadership in clinical trials and dedication to innovation help improve treatment outcomes for stroke patients and advance the field of neurovascular care.

He has now joined the company, focusing on developing products for conditions such as stroke and cerebral aneurysms. In the earnings conference call for Medtronic's first fiscal quarter in August, CEO Jeff Martha pointed out that the growth of the neurovascular business is expected to accelerate throughout the fiscal year, with new carotid stents and hemorrhagic treatment products gradually being launched.

Arthur brings clinical expertise to Medtronic's Neurovascular division, which is focused on accelerating advancements in patient care and shaping the future of neuroscience. He is the latest addition to the division, which welcomed new leadership last year with Linnea Berman appointed as president.
