LianHong Green's 12.5 billion yuan project achieves first handover
On the morning of March 28, the handover ceremony for the first batch of interim handover units of the Lianhong Gerun (Shandong) integrated project, constructed by Guangzhou Engineering Company as the general contractor, was held. The 15# area substation, sewage treatment plant substation, and foam station successfully completed the interim handover.
During the 14th Five-Year period, Lianhe (Lianhe Chemical) will focus on new energy materials (such as photovoltaic materials, new energy battery materials, etc.), biomaterials (such as biodegradable materials, bio-based materials, etc.), electronic materials (such as ultra-pure electronic special gases, wet electronic chemicals, etc.), and other special fine chemicals sectors.
The integrated project of new energy materials and biodegradable materials by Lianhong Ge Run is one of the important strategic layout projects of Lianhong Xinke and has been included in the list of major implementation projects in Shandong Province.
The Lianheng Green New Energy Materials and Biodegradable Materials Integration Project has a total investment of 12.5 billion yuan, covering more than 1,600 mu (approx. 1.07 square kilometers). It will construct facilities including a 200,000 t/a EVA plant, a 300,000 t/a CHPPO plant, a 50,000 t/a PPC plant, a 1.3 million t/a DMTO plant, an 110kV substation project, and system supporting projects.
In the field of photovoltaic materials, the company has already laid out the core raw materials for photovoltaic film, EVA and POE. The current EVA production capacity is 150,000 tons per year, and after the completion of the Lianhong Gerun integrated project, the EVA production capacity will reach 350,000 tons per year. Additionally, the 90,000 tons per year VA unit was successfully started up in January 2024 and has been running at full capacity with stable operation, enabling the EVA unit to achieve complete self-sufficiency in raw materials.
The company is planning to build a 300,000 tons/year POE project, with the first phase of 100,000 tons/year POE plant expected to be completed and put into operation in 2025. This project has been included in the "2024 Jiangsu Province Major Project Implementation List for Advanced Manufacturing."
