Li Xiang pointed out that when the L9 was released, there was a wave of publicity claiming that Li Auto was going bankrupt. By the time the MEGA was launched, everyone was aware of it. Then, when the i8 was released, there was again a large amount of public opinion on such incidents.
Li Xiang stated that every time there is a different brand manipulating things behind the scenes, and this time they also know which brand is involved. However, behind it all are actually professional troll agencies. These professional troll agencies are very good at covering their tracks, but Li Auto does not want to demonize itself or become like them. Li Xiang emphasized, "If we become like them, then they have truly won."
In addition, regarding the phenomenon of netizens playing with memes, Li Xiang responded: "I think it's fine for netizens to play with all kinds of memes. The competition is tough, and everyone works hard, so I'm very happy for people to play with memes. I also hope everyone can play around with me more."
On August 6th, two days ago, Li Xiang Automotive's product line head "Old Tango" exposed a chat screenshot from a part-time group of online trolls organized to slander Li Xiang Automotive on Weibo, stating, "Can you add me to the group? I have two cars, one MEGA and one L9, and I can post a thousand messages a day."
According to the chat screenshot, there are two tasks in this part-time job group. Task one is to collect various irregular behaviors of Li Auto vehicles, including but not limited to parking, driving over the line, changing lanes without signaling, etc. The payment is 5 yuan per photo and 8 yuan per video (subject to review, online images are not accepted, no duplicates, AI-generated content is allowed but must look realistic).
Task 2 is to leave malicious comments under posts or videos from Li Auto owners. The price is 1.5 yuan per comment, and 2 yuan per comment with a picture (after commenting, you need to take a full-screen screenshot for review; if more than 10 comments fail the review, your eligibility for the task will be revoked).
