Leapmotor's 1 Millionth Car Rolls Off the Line as China's Second New Energy Player Reaches Milestone

Kuai Technology reported on September 25th that Leapmotor announced today the official rollout of its 1 millionth vehicle, becoming the second emerging car brand in China to surpass sales of 1 million units.

As a dark horse among the current new force car brands, Leap Motor has seen a rapid surge in sales over the past two years. It took Leap Motor 5 years to produce its first car and reach the milestone of 500,000 units. However, it only took 343 days to go from 500,000 to 1 million units.

In terms of monthly sales, in the just-concluded August, Leapmotor delivered 57,066 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of over 88%, setting a new historical high and achieving the top position in new forces sales for six consecutive months.

Currently, Leapmotor offers seven models for sale, including the T03, B10, B01, C01, C10, C11, and C16. Whether it's the Leapmotor B01, B10, or C10, these models provide owners with superior configurations and experiences, which is the core reason for Leapmotor's strong sales.

In addition, Leapmotor recently released its 2025 semi-annual financial report, with a net profit of 30 million RMB for the first half of the year, marking its first positive semi-annual net profit. It becomes the second company among China's new energy vehicle startups to achieve semi-annual profitability.

Thanks to continuously rising sales, Leapmotor has raised its sales forecast for the second time this year, increasing the annual sales target from a maximum of 600,000 vehicles proposed in early March to 650,000 vehicles.
