Larger Size, Positioned as Flagship: Suspected Li Auto i9 Spy Photos Released
Recently, a set of suspected spy photos of the Li Auto i9 have been exposed. As the flagship model of Li Auto, the overall body size and configuration of the Li Auto i9 will be enhanced.
In terms of appearance, according to spy photos, the new car is heavily camouflaged, with the front hood raised high, but it is clearly not a new design. The overall shape is expected to remain consistent with the i6/i8. In terms of details, the headlights are located on both sides, with a horizontal grille in the middle, and the raised roof is speculated to be a LiDAR.
On the side of the car, the overall silhouette of the new model holds no big surprises. However, the rear end has been padded up with camouflage materials, suggesting that its tail design will be more upright compared to the i6 and i8, further ensuring rear passenger and trunk space. In terms of dimensions, the Li Auto i8 measures 5085mm in length, 1960mm in width, and 1740mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3050mm. The new model’s body size will only be larger.
The powertrain details are currently unknown, but it is expected to be equipped with dual motors, and the range is promising. It is reported that the Li Auto i6 will officially be launched at the end of September this year, and the Li Auto i9 might be teased at the launch event, which is worth looking forward to.
