On September 9th, Yulin Company thoroughly implemented the "Four-Strengths" management initiative, meticulously organized and carefully planned, and successfully completed the product switch from high-density polyethylene grade 23050 to injection molding material HS GC7260.

This production transition involved complex adjustments of process parameters. Yulin Company formulated a detailed transition plan and operating instructions in advance, with a particular focus on the precise adjustment of key parameters such as catalyst dosage, hydrogen concentration, comonomer feed rate, as well as reaction temperature and pressure. Operators of the high-density polyethylene unit closely monitored parameter trends and operated with precision, ensuring that core product indicators such as melt index and density quickly and smoothly transitioned into the control range of the new grade. This minimized the generation of transition material to the greatest extent possible and achieved the goal of an efficient and high-quality production switch.

This production switch is not only a product changeover, but also a valuable opportunity for preventive maintenance of equipment. The High-Density Polyethylene Operation Department made full use of this opportunity to simultaneously carry out maintenance tasks such as replacing the bearing of Centrifuge B and cleaning key equipment in the fluidized bed during empty-bed purging. The equipment team responded swiftly and efficiently completed the planned bearing replacement task for Centrifuge B, effectively resolving potential equipment risks and restoring it to optimal operating condition. At the same time, by taking advantage of the reactor system’s low-load operation period, technicians thoroughly purged the fluidized bed, removing any residual materials and fine powders inside. This created the best possible reaction environment for the next stage of producing pipe-grade material 23050, achieving seamless integration between production and maintenance.
