Jingu Co. Establishes Subsidiary to Enter Embodied Intelligence Sector
Recently, Ginkgo Co., Ltd. submitted the registration for a wholly-owned subsidiary—Hangzhou Ginkgo Embodied Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd.—and simultaneously established an Embodied Intelligence Business Division, officially expanding its footprint in the embodied intelligence industry.
Jinggu Intelligent Robotics will focus on emerging business areas such as humanoid robots, quadruped robots, service robots, specialized application robots, and the low-altitude economy. Leveraging the company's technological expertise in new materials, it aims to provide clients in the robotics and low-altitude aircraft industries with cost-effective solutions that offer both high performance and lightweight advantages on a large scale.
In terms of organizational structure, the Embodied Intelligence Division is led by the Chairman of Jingu Co., with Deputy General Manager and Board Secretary Sun Qunhui and R&D General Manager jointly heading the division. Prior to this, Kingco's business had begun to reach into the field of embodied intelligence. The company developed avatar niobium micro-alloy robot structural components for Zhiyuan Robotics, with sample performance indicators having passed third-party testing and met customer standards. Mass production and supply are expected to be achieved within the year. Additionally, Kingco has recently received an order for bearing-related structural components from Luming Robotics and is currently processing and manufacturing them. Meanwhile, the company is also successfully progressing with the research and development of key component projects in collaboration with companies such as Zhishen Robotics and Ninebot.
Jingu Co., Ltd. primarily focuses on the research, development, production, and sales of automotive wheels, with a comprehensive product matrix covering passenger cars, new energy vehicles, commercial vehicles, and special-purpose vehicles in various wheel sectors. Currently, the company is continuously iterating on the development of the next-generation Avatar low-carbon wheels, accelerating the full replacement of traditional wheels. At the same time, leveraging the technological advantages of Avatar niobium microalloy materials and other new materials, the company is accelerating its penetration into emerging fields such as embodied intelligent robots and low-altitude aircraft.
According to the previously released mid-year report by Kingold Corporation, the company achieved a revenue of 2.123 billion yuan in the first half of this year, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.04%; the net profit attributable to the parent company was 30.2715 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 45.36%. Among them, the automotive parts manufacturing segment achieved a revenue of 1.391 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.61%, mainly driven by the continuous growth in sales of Avatar low-carbon wheels.
