Jinfa Technology Obtains Patent Related To Carbon Black Masterbatch

According to information from the National Intellectual Property Administration, Tianjin Kingfa New Material Co., Ltd. and Kingfa Sci.&Tech. Co., Ltd. have recently obtained a patent titled "Carbon Black Masterbatch, Polypropylene Composite, and Its Preparation Method and Uses," with the authorization announcement number CN119331376B and an application date of October 2024.

The invention discloses a carbon black masterbatch, a polypropylene composite, and their preparation method and application. By weight, the carbon black masterbatch comprises the following components: 10-20 parts carbon black, 10-20 parts mesoporous substance, 10-20 parts polar talc, 40-70 parts maleic anhydride graft, and 0.2-1 part auxiliary antioxidant. The D50 particle size of the carbon black is ≤20nm, and the oil absorption value of the carbon black is ≤100cm³/100g. Furthermore, the invention also seeks to protect a polypropylene composite that contains this carbon black masterbatch. The carbon black masterbatch has excellent dispersibility, being more uniformly distributed at the leading edge of the resin matrix melt and within the melt. When the polypropylene melt converges, becomes turbulent, or collides, it better prevents the occurrence of color streaks.
