Kuai Technology 2025-09-28 14:19:48

Kuai Technology reported on September 28 that Yiche Bang has released a list of the top 20 joint venture models with the largest year-on-year sales decline from January to August 2025.

Honda is the brand with the most models on the list, and in the top ten of the decline ranking, Honda has five models. Previously popular Honda models such as the Fit and Integra have seen their cumulative sales drop by over 70% this year.

Specifically, the Buick Velite 6 electric vehicle tops the list of declines. It had sales of 40,735 units in the same period last year, but in the first eight months of this year, its cumulative sales were only 3,978 units, a year-on-year decrease of 90.2%. It is also the only model on the list with a sales decline of more than 90%.

The Volkswagen Polo ranked second, with only 2,112 units sold this year, averaging less than 300 units per month, a year-on-year decrease of 82.9%.

The XR-V ranks third on the list, with total sales of 2,891 units from January to August this year, a decline of 82.5% compared to 16,530 units during the same period last year, making it the model with the highest decline under Honda. The Honda Fit and HR-V are ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, with sales declines of over 75%.

The Honda Integra ranks eighth on the list, with a sales decline of 73.5%. However, its sales dropped by over 40,000 units, making it the Honda model with the largest sales decrease on the list.

Among Japanese car brands, Nissan has two models, Tiida and Kicks, that made the list, with sales dropping by 75.4% and 63.8% respectively. Only the Toyota brand does not have any models appearing on the decline list.

In addition, within the BBA luxury car lineup, the Audi Q4 e-tron, BMW iX3, and Mercedes-Benz A-Class electric vehicles all experienced a decline of over 50%.
