On September 22, 2025, Henkel announced the official opening of its new Adhesive Technology Innovation Experience Center in Shanghai. With a total investment of approximately 500 million RMB, the center aims to accelerate the development of impactful sustainable solutions and promote deep collaboration with customers, thereby driving Henkel's long-term growth in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new center is located in the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, covering an area of 33,000 square meters. It brings together over 500 scientists and technical experts from fields such as product development, application technology, and technical services, providing leading adhesive, sealant, and functional coating solutions to customers from a wide range of industries.

Leveraging a technology platform-based architecture, the Shanghai Innovation Experience Center will promote cross-industry collaboration and knowledge exchange. Utilizing advanced digital tools, Henkel experts can connect with a broader global innovation network, driving agile and efficient workflows as well as data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the facility includes a state-of-the-art customer experience center, providing immersive interactive experiences for partners from various industries and academia, inspiring creativity and exploring growth opportunities.
