Great Wall Motors Achieves Historic Best August Sales Performance, Selling 115,600 Vehicles
Recently, Great Wall Motors released its latest monthly sales data. In August 2025, Great Wall Motors sold 115,558 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 22.33%, setting a record for the best August sales in its history. By brand, Haval sold 68,912 vehicles in August, a year-on-year increase of 22.69%. Tank brand sold 20,022 vehicles in August, up 22.46% year-on-year. Not long ago, the all-new Tank 500 was officially launched with a starting price of 335,000 yuan, featuring a comprehensive upgrade in intelligent experience. In the future, it is highly likely to become a new key pillar in Great Wall’s off-road vehicle lineup. Wey sold 8,028 vehicles in August, a substantial year-on-year increase of 167.51%. The latest Lanshan and Gaoshan models have further evolved in terms of assisted driving and smart cockpit functions, and their current market performance is quite impressive. Great Wall Pickup sold 13,322 vehicles in August, with cumulative global sales reaching 2.812 million units. The race-grade V6 Pao was unveiled for pre-sale at the Chengdu Auto Show, with a pre-sale price of 229,800 yuan; this large-displacement new model is currently attracting significant attention in the industry. Ora also sold 5,223 vehicles in August.
