According to the plan, GAC Group will first launch two AION brand electric vehicle models in the UK market - the AION V SUV and the AION UT hatchback, with the first batch of vehicles expected to be delivered to UK consumers in the first quarter of 2026.

Guangzhou Automobile Group International General Manager Wei Haigang stated that through strategic cooperation with Ample Auto, GAC Group is able to bring electric vehicle models to the UK market, promoting a transition to cleaner and more sustainable transportation in the UK. When asked whether other brands such as Trumpchi, Hechuang, or Haobo would be introduced, GAC Group indicated that at this stage, it will focus on promoting the Aion brand in the UK market.

It is worth noting that GAC Group has announced plans to launch sales operations in European countries such as Portugal and Poland, and successfully entered the Brazilian market in May this year.2024Year Guangqi Group Global sales declined year-on-year.20% 200"ten thousand vehicles, mainly due to its relationship with Honda" ToyotaAutomobile'sThe impact of declining sales of joint ventures in the Chinese market.GAC GroupOverseas market sales, however, went against the trend. 67%, reach12.7tens of thousands of vehicles, demonstrating a strong momentum for international development.

Additionally, the UK government announced this week that it will invest £650 million (approximately $871 million) in electric vehicle subsidies. Consumers purchasing models priced at no more than £37,000 can receive a maximum subsidy of £3,750, and this policy may also attract more brands to enter the UK market.
