GAC and Huawei Jointly Launch New Brand “Qijing”
On September 16, Gasgoo Automotive noticed reports that, according to the latest news from GAC Group, following a meeting between GAC Group Chairman Feng Xingya and Huawei CEO Ren Zhengfei, the cooperation between the two parties has been comprehensively upgraded.
It is reported that both parties will jointly create a new brand called "Qijing," positioned as a high-end intelligent new energy vehicle brand, which will be officially launched in the near future.
According to the plans of both parties, Qijing Auto will be fully equipped with Huawei’s most advanced Qiankun intelligent technology. Combining GAC Group’s high-quality manufacturing with Huawei Qiankun’s intelligent technology, the two parties will foster a synergy of quality and intelligence, jointly creating a new productive force for the era of intelligent vehicles.
Notably, as early as July 11, Gasgoo learned that Feng Xingya attended the 2025 China Auto Forum and delivered a speech. Feng Xingya stated that GAC has been actively learning from outstanding companies. Last week, he made a special trip to Shenzhen to visit. Mr. Ren Zhengfei, the founder, conducted in-depth learning and discussions on the current trends in the automotive industry, marketing innovation, customer insights, corporate reform and governance, as well as the promotion of cooperative projects.

In the future, GAC and Huawei will further deepen their comprehensive strategic cooperation to jointly promote high-quality development of the industry.
In March of this year, Gaishi Automobile reported that GAC Group launched the "Starling Intelligent Driving" technology brand, accelerating the process of intelligence and making a bid to join the global top tier of smart driving. The arrival of Starling Intelligent Driving is an important part of GAC Group's deepening of the "Smart Driving 2027" action plan and a key step in its comprehensive efforts to advance smart driving technology and promote equity in smart driving.
According to reports, GAC Group mainly adopts two technical routes in the intelligent driving field: "multi-sensor fusion" and "map-free pure vision." Last year, GAC Group stated that its L2++ level map-free city NDA function, developed based on multi-sensor fusion technology, had achieved nationwide coverage. The map-free pure vision intelligent driving system is planned to be installed in vehicles by 2026, which can significantly reduce the cost of using advanced intelligent driving.
