Fifth-Generation DMH Technology: Roewe M7 DMH Opens for Pre-Sale at Chengdu Auto Show

Recently, it has been learned from relevant channels that the Roewe M7 DMH will commence pre-sale at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, which opens on August 29. The new car is positioned as a mid-to-large sedan and is equipped with SAIC's fifth-generation DMH super hybrid technology.

In terms of appearance, the Roewe M7 DMH adopts a brand-new design style. The large front grille is accented with vertical chrome trim, paired with split front headlight units on both sides and exaggerated air intakes on the front bumper, creating a visually striking effect. Meanwhile, the new car features a self-illuminating "ROEWE" letter logo, which enhances its recognition when lit up at night.

The rear design is rounded and full, with through-type taillights paired with a "U" shaped chrome strip below, enhancing the visual width. In terms of vehicle dimensions, the length, width, and height are 4940mm*1890mm*1510mm, with a wheelbase of 2820mm.

The interior focuses on creating a sense of layered depth, while the intelligent cockpit incorporates an AI voice large model that can more accurately capture user needs and integrate voice commands to activate corresponding apps within the vehicle’s ecosystem. The smartphone-vehicle interconnection ecosystem supports bringing the phone’s desktop interface into the car and enables seamless cross-device application continuity, allowing applications and services to automatically transfer to the in-car system as soon as the user enters the cockpit with their smartphone.

In terms of the power system, the Roewe M7 DMH is equipped with SAIC's fifth-generation DMH super hybrid technology. The 1.5L hybrid-specific engine has a maximum power of 82kW and a peak torque of 135N·m; the total power of the electric motor is 137kW with a total torque of 330N·m.
