EREMA launches heavy-duty recycling machine for post-consumer materials

EREMA expands its ReadyMac plastic recycling system product line by launching the new ReadyMac 500 "heavy-duty" version. With the integration of the EREMA Laserfilter, this versatile and cost-effective recycling machine is now also suitable for processing demanding post-consumer materials.
Equipped with a laser filter for severely polluted input streams.
"Updated ReadyMac has met the market demand targets and even exceeded our expectations, especially considering the current economic environment," said Michael Köhnhofer, Head of the EREMA ReadyMac Business Unit.
Building on this success, EREMA is expanding its range of readily available standard recycling machines, which offer an extremely attractive price-performance ratio. The new ReadyMac 500 Heavy Duty (HD) version is equipped with the EREMA Laser Filter, specifically designed for challenging materials. It will be available from April 1, 2025, at a fixed price of 440,000 euros.
The new ReadyMac 500 HD equipped with EREMA Laserfilter is very suitable for input streams with more severe contamination. "When processing highly contaminated materials, an efficient filtration system is crucial for achieving the desired melt quality. That is why ReadyMac can now also be equipped with Laserfilter," Köhnhofer explained. The EREMA Laserfilter can reliably remove unwanted impurities from the plastic melt, such as paper, wood, aluminum, or foreign polymers, while continuously cleaning the screen through a scraping system.
In addition to the new Laserfilter version, the ReadyMac 500 is still available with the proven SW RTF® screen changer system at a fixed price of 375,000 euros. This gives customers the flexibility to choose the best solution that meets their specific recycling requirements.
Throughput is 500 kilograms per hour.
With the launch of the ReadyMac 500 HD, EREMA is expanding its range of standardized machines for post-consumer recycling businesses that do not require custom systems. This enables ReadyMac to meet the needs of a broader customer base. With an throughput of 500 kilograms per hour, it also offers an ideal entry point for plastic recycling with excellent性价比.
Note: The term "性价比" does not have a direct translation, but in this context, it refers to the cost-effectiveness or value for money. A suitable replacement could be "cost-effectiveness" or "value." Here's the revised version:
