DuPont recently released the "2025 Sustainability Report," detailing its progress toward achieving the 2030 sustainability goals.

Lori Koch

At DuPont, innovation and sustainability are closely intertwined, a fact reflected in the outstanding achievements we have attained. Over the past year, our teams have driven the development of breakthrough technologies, reduced environmental impact, and deepened our commitment to employee well-being and thriving communities. From globally recognized product innovations to record-setting safety performance and climate milestones, these advancements highlight how our teams create value for customers, shareholders, and communities. We are proud to share with you our 2025 Sustainability Report to showcase our impact.
DuPont's 2030 sustainability goals focus on three key areas: innovating for good, protecting people and the planet, and empowering employee development. The annual report highlights our significant achievements in these areas.
Innovation for Good
Launched over 30 new products that provide customers with sustainability and performance advantages, covering areas such as advanced computing, automotive electrification, medical devices, building materials, and water purification.
Winner of eight Global R&D 100 Awards and the Edison Award, the awarded products boast excellent performance and sustainable development benefits.
Awarded Samsung Electronics' 2024 Best Innovation Partner Award and three other supplier awards, recognizing innovative achievements that contribute to the development of advanced node technology.
According to the analysis conducted using the latest proprietary Portfolio Sustainability Assessment (PSA) method, over 75% of our innovative products are currently expected to deliver sustainability value to customers.
Protect humanity and the Earth
Set a new record for the safest year for employees and contractors; 84% of production sites achieved zero work-related injuries.
Total emissions from Scopes 1, 2, and 3 will be reduced by 55% compared to their respective baselines (with Scopes 1 and 2 using 2019 as the baseline, and Scope 3 using 2020 as the baseline).
61% of operational electricity comes from renewable energy, including the purchase of renewable energy credits - 41 operational sites use 100% renewable electricity.
FilmTec™ nanofiltration membranes and AmberLite™ ion exchange resins have been awarded top sustainability honors.
Empower employee development
The annual IMPACT employee survey shows that 89% of respondents agree that the work they do is important and feel closely connected to the company’s mission.
Employees volunteered over 3,800 hours in 166 events sponsored by DuPont.
