Previously, Tesla was repeatedly asked to voluntarily withdraw from the auto show, but it did not accept, and ultimately, the organizers had no choice but to exclude Tesla.

The organizer's representative, Eric Nicole, stated that this move is primarily out of consideration for the safety of attendees, exhibitors, and staff, hoping that the audience can focus on the positive elements of the auto show.

Tesla and its CEO Elon Musk have recently become targets of criticism due to Musk's involvement in the "Office of Government Efficiency" related matters of the Trump administration.

Multiple protest groups have taken actions against Tesla, with some even escalating to violent behavior, resulting in damage or destruction of Tesla vehicles. Such actions clearly go beyond the scope of reasonable protest.

However, this decision by the Vancouver Auto Show has sparked much controversy.

There is a view that this approach sets a dangerous precedent for violent methods by groups opposing Tesla, which may leave other auto shows unable to ensure that all companies can showcase their products and technologies when faced with similar situations.

In addition, the decision may also provoke dissatisfaction among Tesla fans, and even lead to their boycott of this auto show.
