Colines' Customized Cast Film Production Line for LyondellBasell Officially Launched

Colines has successfully installed a state-of-the-art cast film production line at LyondellBasell's Cincinnati Technology Center. The newly commissioned equipment is a 9-layer ALLRollEX series, specifically designed for the production of high-quality stretch films.

According to the company, the core advantage of this production line lies in its exceptional flexibility that surpasses traditional stretch film production: with interchangeable extruder screws and advanced process design, it can produce complex structured products such as ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) oxygen barrier films. Equipped with a double-sided corona treatment device, it provides reliable support for subsequent lamination or printing processes. The product thickness adjustment range is extensive, covering all scenarios from 10 micrometers to 102 micrometers.

Mick Hundley, head of the Cincinnati Technology Center at LyondellBasell, stated in a company press release: "By enhancing our technical capabilities, we can collaborate more effectively with our customers and provide customized solutions that meet their unique needs."
