Circularix Launches Commercial Recycling Plant in Florida, United States (US)
Circularix, a leading producer of food-grade recycled PET (rPET resin) in the United States, recently announced that its new recycling plant in Ocala, Florida, has been successfully completed and commenced commercial operations. This facility will serve as a complement to Circularix's flagship plant in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, significantly enhancing the company's capacity to supply high-quality food-grade recycled PET resin to major consumer brands.
“We completed the construction and commissioning of this factory in record time,” said Leon Farahnik, founder and CEO of Circularix. “From mid-March when the equipment was installed to reaching full-capacity production on August 1, this milestone demonstrates our team's dedication and professionalism. It is their commitment that enabled us to bring the second factory into operation at an unprecedented speed.”
In addition to the commissioning of the Ocala plant, Circularix has also initiated a capacity expansion plan for its Hatfield facility in Pennsylvania by taking over adjacent industrial space. Upon completion of the expansion, production capacity will be further increased, enhancing Circularix’s ability to meet customer demand.
"With the new capacity in Florida and the ongoing future development plans in Pennsylvania, we will be able to better supply more high-quality rPET to our core partners, supporting their packaging sustainability goals," Farahni added.
Circularix has rapidly become a leading company in the U.S. circular plastics economy. The company's mission is to ensure that recycled PET meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and safety for applications such as beverage, food, and consumer packaging.
