China's PC monitor market shows strong growth in 2024, with gaming monitors becoming a highlight.
On March 20, the International Data Corporation (IDC) released the "China PC Monitor Market Quarterly Tracking Report," which showed that in 2024, the total shipment volume of China's PC monitor market was 27.05 million units, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%; the fourth quarter of 2024 market shipment volume was 7.03 million units, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%. Among them, the commercial market shipment volume was 3.8 million units, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%; the consumer market shipment volume was 3.23 million units, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%.

IDC indicates, the core of growthThis is mainly due to the continuous upgrading of the consumer market structure, as well as the accelerated penetration of e-sports monitors in the general office market. This trend will continue to drive the development of China's monitor market in 2025, with an expected growth of 1.6% in PC monitor shipments in China by 2025.
IDC data shows that in the fourth quarter of 2024, China's e-sports monitor shipments increased by 62.9% year-on-year, with the market share of refresh rates ≥180Hz reaching 75.2%. In addition, the low-price strategy adopted by brands also helped to promote the penetration of high-refresh-rate monitors into the general office market, with small and medium-sized enterprises accounting for 25.9% of e-sports monitors in the fourth quarter of 2024. The trend of high-refresh-rate, high-resolution products penetrating the general office market will continue, and IDC expects that in 2025, China's e-sports monitor market will grow by 12.4% year-on-year.
