On March 20th, China Chemical announced that by February 2025, the company's contract amount was 534.20 billion yuan (309.4 billion yuan in contracts signed in January). Among them, the contract amount for real estate and new materials sales was 15.18 billion yuan.

There are 8 joint ventures with 5 billion Rupiah.

(1) Indonesia's Pupuk Kaltim company's 300,000 tons/year soda ash project

This project is an important national project in Indonesia and the first pure caustic soda project, located in Kaltim Industrial Area, Bontang City, East Kalimantan, spanning 16 hectares, meeting 30% of Indonesia's current caustic soda demand, utilizing the Hou process (ligneous method) of alkaline production from China.

It is reported that the project increases the production of compound fertilizers through the byproduct ammonium chloride to promote the food self-sufficiency plan and utilizes carbon dioxide as a raw material to help achieve carbon reduction and green economic goals, thereby realizing a closed-loop production system of "gas-soda-chemical fertilizer."

(2) Wanli Tyre Co., Ltd.'s Overseas Rubber Tire Construction Project

The total project investment will reach USD 500 million, equivalent to approximately RMB 3.6 billion. The first phase investment will be USD 300 million, and the second phase investment will be USD 200 million. The project is located in the New Bavet Special Economic Zone on Road 316A, Prey Koki Village, Chanthrea District, Svay Rieng Province, Cambodia. The total planned land area is approximately 482 acres, with the first phase construction area covering approximately 210 acres and a building area of approximately 180,000 square meters. The first phase equipment will be configured for an annual production capacity of 6 million semi-steel tires. The total capacity of the second phase will be increased to 10 million semi-steel tires and 1.2 million all-steel tires.

(3) Fujian Haitian Chemical Co., Ltd. 400,000-ton Adiponitrile and Supporting Raw Material Project per Year

The total investment of this project is approximately 14.8 billion yuan. The main construction content includes a 400,000 tons/year adiponitrile plant, a 400,000 tons/year synthetic ammonia plant, a 500,000 tons/year acetic acid plant, a 60,000 tons/year PSA hydrogen production plant, and supporting public utilities. Production is expected to begin in October 2026.

The project employs the "Direct Cyanation of Butadiene" technology for synthesizing hexanedinitrile, independently developed by China Chemical Tianchen Company. It utilizes coal as the raw material, which is gasified to produce crude synthesis gas. The crude synthesis gas undergoes conversion and thermal recovery, followed by low-temperature methanol washing to prepare conversion purified gas and thermal recovery purified gas. A portion is sent to the ammonia synthesis unit after being treated with liquid nitrogen to remove CO and mixed with nitrogen, producing 400,000 tons/year of liquid ammonia. Another portion undergoes methanol rectification to produce high-purity hydrogen, while the remaining part is used to produce 350,000 tons/year of methanol intermediate products. The methanol intermediate products, along with the CO gas produced from the CO preparation unit, are sent to the acetic acid unit to produce 500,000 tons/year of acetic acid.
