Chery Group’s August Exports Reach 129,500 Vehicles
DoNews Auto, September 8 — According to Chery Group, in August 2025, Chery Group exported 129,472 vehicles, setting a new monthly export record for Chinese brands. The export volume continues to rank first among Chinese automobile exporters.

From January to August, Chery Group exported a total of 798,804 vehicles, achieving three industry firsts: the first Chinese brand car company to exceed 120,000 units in a single month's exports; the first Chinese brand car company to cumulatively export over 5 million units; and the first Chinese brand car company to export over 100,000 units for four consecutive months.
From January to July, Chery's sales in the European market approached 40,000 units, representing a year-on-year increase of over 9 times. Hybrid models, including the JAECOO7 PHEV and Tiggo 7 PHEV, have been sold to 23 countries and regions worldwide. During the same period, the export proportion of Chery Group's new energy vehicles rose to 25%.
As of the end of August, Chery Group's global cumulative users have exceeded 17.44 million, with overseas users surpassing 5.3 million.
