Changhong Carbon Black announced that by June 2026, its total production capacity will expand from the current 300,000 tons to 420,000 tons, further solidifying its position as the leading brand of petroleum-based carbon black in China.

In the subsequent technical seminar session, Liu Xing, Sales Director of Zhejiang Changhong Biomaterials Co., Ltd., Wang Yubao, General Manager of Shenzhen Daxing Chemicals, and Jiao Cuiguang, Engineer at Sino New Materials Research Institute, delivered in-depth reports on three major topics: "Optimization of Dispersion Performance of Petroleum-based Carbon Black in Masterbatches," "High Blackness Low Addition Solutions," and "Green Low-Carbon Additives for Cost Reduction." They provided the attending guests with a knowledge feast filled with "substantial content," covering aspects from raw materials, formulations, and processes to case data.

Capacity expansion, worry-free supply

At the meeting, Ningbo Dongyi officially disclosed the expansion plan for the second phase of Changhong Carbon Black: the new production line with a capacity of 120,000 tons will be gradually put into operation by June 2026, bringing the total production capacity to 420,000 tons. This will effectively alleviate the current situation of supply shortages during peak seasons, providing a "reassurance" for downstream companies to secure raw material supplies.

The successful hosting of this seminar appreciation event not only built a bridge for communication and connection between the upstream and downstream of the masterbatch industry chain but also further enhanced the brand influence of Changhong Carbon Black.
