Chang'an Qiyuan A06 Price Truly Impressive

On September 28th, the new central state-owned enterprise Changan Automobile launched its first household sedan, the Qiyuan A06, under the Changan Qiyuan brand in Chengdu and announced the global reservation price for the new car. A total of six models with different configurations were introduced, with an initial pre-sale price range of 119,900 to 159,900 yuan.

Changan Automobile's Executive Vice President Yang Dayong stated at the conference that the Qiyuan A06 is built on the Changan SDA platform and is the first new energy strategic sedan launched after the establishment of the new central enterprise, China Changan Automobile Group. It carries the important mission of breaking into the mainstream new energy market for the brand. Changan Qiyuan promises lifetime warranty on the three electric systems for the first car owners, one-to-one compensation in case of spontaneous combustion, and replacement instead of repair for excessive battery degradation.

CEO Di Zhirui of Chang'an Qiyuan explained that the Qiyuan A06 not only provides users with ultimate worry-free safety but also offers an upgraded driving and riding comfort experience in terms of design and space.

In terms of aesthetics, the new car has been specially developed with a Sunset Purple body color for users, along with five other exterior color options to cater to the personalized choices of young audiences today. The exquisite front light assembly and the simple rear design not only align with the aesthetic preferences of family users but also exude a low-key yet refined style. The 2.5㎡ large glass roof creates a transparent and spacious sense of space.

In terms of body dimensions, the length, width, and height are 4885/1916/1496mm, with a wheelbase of 2922mm, which shows a significant advantage in wheelbase compared to other vehicles in the same class. Thanks to the wider body space and the wheelbase size, the QiYuan A06 achieves a remarkably high usable space rate of 90% for the entire vehicle. Additionally, features such as frameless doors, semi-hidden mechanical door handles, and frameless rearview mirrors contribute to achieving a drag coefficient of 0.205Cd.

In terms of body detail design, the Changan Qiyuan features illuminated front and rear logos, fully highlighting the brand's distinctiveness. Additionally, its hidden functions include concealed electric switches for the front and rear trunks, which can be opened or closed by double tapping.

The overall layout of the interior is minimalist and stylish, with a soft-touch material coverage of up to 90.6%, including the B and C pillar armrests, which are all wrapped in skin-friendly NAPPA texture, offering a delicate and soft touch. The interior provides three selectable styles, and all seats are equipped with ventilated, heated, and massage functions. Notably, the rear seat space features a 145-degree angle adjustment, providing a riding experience comparable to luxury cars. The central control screen integrates the DeepSeek large model, combined with eight hidden microphones, which can accurately recognize the voiceprints of different family members, enabling a seamless voice dialogue experience.

In terms of intelligent configuration, the Qiyuan A06 is equipped with 1 lidar, 3 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 cameras, creating a panoramic perception network. It supports features such as high-speed navigation assistance, AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking), and intelligent parking assistance. The front row supports 50W wireless fast charging, and the rear offers a cold and warm refrigerator, enhancing practicality.

In terms of performance, the Changan Qiyuan A06 offers two range versions: 510 km and 630 km. It features the industry's only 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform and 6C fast charging technology, allowing for an average of 2 seconds to charge 1 kilometer. It only takes 9 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and in 10 minutes, it can add 330 km of range. This translates to 1 kWh allowing for 10 kilometers of travel, with a cost of only 4 cents per kilometer.
