According to a report from the Emergency Management Bureau of Changxing County, Huzhou, Zhejiang, at 7:47 a.m. on August 28, 2025,A fire broke out at the Zhejiang Dachuan New Materials Co., Ltd. factory.After receiving the report, the fire department, emergency management, police, and 120 emergency medical services quickly responded to handle the rescue. As of 8:30 a.m., the fire at the scene had been brought under control.2 people are missing.On-site rescue and investigation are underway.

According to a report by The Beijing News, a staff member of the Huzhou municipal government responded that,Two more injured people have been sent to the hospital for treatment.On the afternoon of the 28th, around 5 p.m., a reporter from Jimu News learned from the relevant departments in Changxing County that the search is still ongoing for the two people missing due to the fire.
